Fruits and Vegetables That Contain the Most Poisons in Them

Every year the global organization that operates under the name Environmental Working Group (EWG) publishes a list of fruits and vegetables that contain the most and least pesticides.

The apples are on top of this list that contains foods with the most pesticides to 50nyears now, because they are usually sprayed before and after harvest in order to stay cool.

Second year in a row, the avocado is high on the list of foods "purer".

Potatoes contain the most pesticides according to their weight, the peppers are found to contain 15 different pesticides out of season and beans, peaches, apples and sherry Tomatoes contain about 13 different types of pesticides.

Yet despite that pesticides can be found in some fruits and vegetables, scientists do not recommend that you do not use them, but to consume organic products instead.
