Water diet is not a starvation diet when drinking only water. During this diet you can eat normally and still can't lose weight. You have to drink water in certain quantities and during a specified period in the day.
First I want to point out that regardless of the name of this diet, water diet is not based on drinking water and not eating. To put it in other words water diet is not a starvation diet.
So, now that we are sure that this diet is not, let's find out what it really is. You can tell she is dieting to lose weight and can be considered a detox diet. According to scientists, when we are thirsty, your body gives a signal to our brain that is interpreted by us as hunger. So instead of drink ... eat. Therefore, why do we need these unwanted calories, calories are transformed into fat. It works in the other direction too, when we drink water, our brain receives a signal from our body, which received food and hunger alarm can be disabled. That is the Foundation of the water diet.
Rules:
- Drinking often with small sips.
- Drinking tap water or bottled. They will give you the right amount of minerals.
- When we want to lose weight, best to use cool water(not too cold though), because our body after receiving these, needs to warm up, then burns calories in order to do so.
- Drink about 1-1.5 gallons of water per day.
- In addition to water can drinking tea (green and red), herbal tea.
- A great way to drink water is to prepare with a lemon slice and Mint leave. Do not add sugar.
- If you feel faint or have problems with your health, consult your doctor.
Reminder:
Do not drink more than two drinks at a time, because unbalanced body mineral stability, reduces the concentration of minerals. Also dilutes blood, so our heart has to pump faster.
When drinking?
- In the morning, just after waking, before breakfast. This prepares the digestive system to the next step.
- Half an hour before each meal. In this way you will fill your stomach and eventually you will eat less.
- One and a halfhour after eating. This will prevent eating between meals.
- Half an hour before bed. Water helps to restand rejuvenate during sleep.
- Whenever you are hungry.
- Do not drink while eating. When you drink during the meal, you chewless, what this does is that you are able to eat more. As a result, your body receivesmore calories and therefore gain weight. Apart from that, drink while eating dilutes the gastric juice that disrupts the process of digestion. This causes gas, bloating and constipation.
What to eat?
In General, you can eat what is considered a healthy meal: vegetables, lentils, beans, whole grains, flour, nuts, grains, healthy oils, fruit. In addition you can eat lean meat, fish, low fat dairy products (personally I ate that rarely-less than once a month). Check out the new food pyramid.
And most importantly: stay active. Physical activity is an essential part of a healthy diet. Keeps your optimum weight, helps get rid of toxins and strengthen your body. Ride a bike, run, go to the gym, take a yoga class or a dance lesson. If you're not into sports, going for a walk. Every effort counts.
