As a result of the current lifestyle, one of the major problems of our power is the incorrect distribution of meals throughout the day. Even though breakfast is the most important meal, generally, in the Mediterranean countries, is considered a light feeding, a practice totally wrong.

After seven, eight or nine hours of sleep and of fasting, the body needs energy and nutrients to carry out daily activities such as work, school or sports.

Even if a person on two recognizes the benefits of a rich breakfast, in Europe seven million children start their day by skipping this meal (the European barometer data Kellogg's).

What are the consequences that derive from skipping breakfast?

The lack of glucose, the main source of energy, causes our bodies burn more energy reserves, which could generate, among other consequences, fatigue, bad mood, sleep, lack of concentration and tendency to put on weight.

The brain consumes approximately 25% of all the glucose present in the body.

For children and adolescents in school age, the absence of this morning meal will affect learning and reduces productivity because the memory, the expressiveness and creativity are especially affected by this carbohydrate.
