The study took into account 13 people who had included the Spice in their diet and 12who had excluded and Richard Mattes, one of the authors of the study, explained that, in effect, "eat the Chili can help you manage your appetite and burn more calories after a meal, especially in individuals who do not regularly consume this spice".
The real magic is the capsaicin it contains that, according to research published on Physiology & Behavior, reduces hunger and increases energy expenditure, by burning more calories, although always to consider that the spiciness of this spice can always have side effects and should be consumed with moderation.
